Journey of “The Magician” – Major Arcana II

The next card in the major arcana is the Magician. The magician is an archetype famous in all the major traditions of the world. In the ancient world, they held very high positions and authority in the kingdom, because of the perplexing abilities that they possessed. More often than not people followed them out of fear. The positive and negative attributes of this archetype have been made famous by many folklores and fairy tales.

Visual Representations in the card

The Magician is depicted as a male figure standing tall and proud emanating a commanding appearance. The magician points a crystal wand towards the heavens and the other hand to the earth depicting his ability to channel information between the two realms.

The motive of the magician is revealed by the purity of the gown that he wears. His power and passion are represented by the red garments. The uroboros on his belt and the infinity above his head represent the cyclic nature of the universe. The red and the white lilies represent his creative abilities and the skill to manifest them. On the table are the elements of the tarot. The Wand, Cup, Sword, and Pentacle. These are all the tools one requires in his/her journey. The Magician possesses the wisdom to use them in appropriate ways and in the right balance.

The meditation

• Begin by relaxing yourself. Invoke the divine for help.
• Shield and ground yourself and reach the state of Alpha.
• Invoke the flow of Reiki.
• Place a picture of “The Magician” tarot card or an actual card in front of you.
• Use symbol #3 HSZSN over the card and establish a connection with it.
• Using HSZSN #3, place yourself in the middle of the card.
• Seeing, hearing, feeling, touching thought the point of view of the main character in the card.
• With one hand pointing towards the heaven and the other hand towards the earth, begin channelling the divine energy into your life. Let the energy of the heavens flow into your life blessing every part of it.
• Call upon and draw in all the positive attributes that you require in your life through the magician. Experience how different your life would be if you could utilize the positive attributes of “The Magician” into your everyday life. Absorb the wisdom of the magician in using the resources in front of you in the most appropriate and balanced manner.
• Letting go of all the negative attributes with the exhaling breath. Breath in all the positive attributes with the inhale. Do this for a few minutes.
• You can close the session and ground yourself once you have absorbed all the energy that you need.

In your everyday life, be resourceful of what you do. Become aware of the resources you already have at your disposal and be grateful for them.

“What we need we already have, we just have to be mindful of its existence and resourceful enough to make use of it”.
