Speaking with many colleagues, we have noticed that there is a concept that either we are not transmitting correctly, or it is not being understood well. That is why I decided to write these lines.
The first sign that this concept is not rooted in us is that people come to the sessions when something is wrong, there is pain, or deep emotional conflict or a major imbalance.
The second sign is that they suddenly leave the sessions (of whatever therapy) because “I was already feeling OK”.
This is where the need to re-discuss the difference between the concept of “disease” between East and West arises, although traditional medicine is already more actively incorporating the concept of prevention.
For the Eastern concept, the physical illness or disease is a “symptom” of a profound energy imbalance that was not heard before by the person. Dr. Bach would say that it is Soul’s desperate cry for us to understand that something is wrong.
In the Ministry of Health of Japan, Shiatsu for example, is defined as a method to conserve health. Here people use it when something hurts.
Balancing the “subtle” can be much simpler and less traumatic than something that reaches the physical plane.
That is why we must incorporate this concept that complementary therapies like Reiki are to CONSERVE HEALTH, to anticipate the physical ailment. We do not wait until the engine of our car stops working to check the oil, we go to the service when planned. If we do that with a car that can be replaced, why not doing it with our body that must accompany us throughout this life cycle?
Now, if it is already too late and we had to resort to sessions with a declared illness, and we have the grace that it gives way, why not continue to do what helped us to get out of that situation and avoid this way to repeat the event?
Einstein said that if we do the same we will get the same results, that is, if we ignore our imbalances we will get sick again, if we repeat what helped us to get better, we will continue to be OK. Do not wait for the fire to buy a fire extinguisher.
Obviously, it will not be the same frequency between sessions where there is an ailment already on the physical plane and the sessions where it’s about maintaining the health. And this will depend on each person and how they complement other activities in their daily lives.
Awareness is the path of growth that leads us to balance and energetic/spiritual, mental/emotional and physical balance.
We always have time and money for the most unusual things like changing the cell phone because a new model came out or buying a magazine, etc. Why don’t we worry about reserving some of that time and that money to take care of ourselves?
Unfortunately, when everything falls apart, we are the first shouting WHY ME? !!! As Mabel Katz would say, we attract what we receive, we are 100% responsible for what happens to us, only that we ignore or refuse to see it that way because it would involve taking care of our lives and not being able to blame anyone else for what happens to us.
We CREATE our present with the memories of our past and the fears of our future.
We have to change what hurts our lives, it can not be a desire for the future, START NOW! Or do not regret it later.
I have tried to be more direct this time because I see that many need a shake to wake up, it is not enough a whisper in the ear, so WAKE UP, not tomorrow or yesterday … TODAY !!! Take control and start by doing something for YOU TODAY !!! However small.
And you … what do you choose for your life?
