Living in truth seems like such an easy thing to do. Unfortunately, it is becoming more and more rare these days. People seem to be becoming comfortable with wanting to live in a fake reality. Often times it isn’t something someone consciously chooses to do. Usually this is a result of having lived through a painful past or having experienced a horrific trauma. It feels safer for this new fake reality to be built than to have to go through any other uncertainty or pain.
As Reiki Practitioners people come to us when seeking healing or relaxation. Healing is not usually a pain-free process. Generally there is a healing crisis where you work through some very painful things in order to move on to a more peaceful life. You cannot move on from something unless you acknowledge it and live in truth. Sweeping something under the rug might work in the short term but it will bring about even bigger problems down the road.
It is our job as Practitioners to help people when they come in for a healing. I find that after a Reiki Session I am usually asked questions about how a certain area of their life may be fixed or if I know of anything to help them with a specific trauma. Reiki seems to always bring what is bothering someone up to be healed. While this is amazing in and of itself it does require that the Practitioner be prepared. Below you will find the method I recommend to people for learning to live in the truth with Reiki.
Method for Living in the Truth with Reiki:
- If you are a Reiki Practitioner and wish to use this method on yourself you may do so during your regular self-Reiki session. Otherwise, get into a meditative state and set the intention that you wish to welcome in the positive energy and live in truth.
- Once you are performing self-Reiki or are in a meditative state ask that you be shown anything in your life that is not a true reality and that healing energy may be sent to heal it for the greatest good. Sit in this space for up to 20min.
- Ground yourself by using the grounding symbol at the end of your self-Reiki session or meditation.
- In a journal or notebook write down everything that you were shown during your session. Pay attention during the next few weeks to any changes you may be experiencing. Sometimes changes can seem hard at first but in the end are for our greatest good.
Living in truth means you are living in the purest form of energy there is. It is full of love and light and will radically change your life for the better. Some things will have to be left behind as you move up to a new lighter vibration of truth. Be brave, be real, and take a step towards the light. A beautiful new reality waits for you when you live in truth with Reiki.
