During meditation, you behold divine vision and divine perception. You feel your strength in the experience of perception. It has been convincingly argued that ecstasy is, in essence, a state of full perception. Ecstasy comes when one is most alive and without perception it cannot happen. Let yourself be open with Reiki and life will be easier. Everything that happens is a surprise. So enjoy being surprised!

For refine perception one needs to understand the Third eye. It is situated in the Sushumna Nadi (nerve) and its corresponding center in the physical body is the space between the two eye-brows. This is the seat of the mind. The chakra is a pure white colour, like that of the full moon. The corresponding center in the physical body is at the Cavernous Plexus. He who concentrates at this center with the Reiki symbol Zonar destroys all the Karmas of the past lives. The benefits that may be derived from the meditating on this Chakra cannot be described in words.

The pineal and pituitary glands are considered to be the most important glands in the endocrine system. The pineal gland is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain; resembles a pine cone, hence its name and is located in the epitheliums near the center of the brain, between the hemispheres. Divine consciousness stimulates one’s mind through it and as the regulator of the thought process further creates links between the physiological and mental functions. One’s emotional level has a great impact on the growth and activities of this gland. The mystic function of the unconscious mind and aura of one’s vital energy also depends on it.

Major results of the modern research on the pineal and pituitary glands concern the extraction and analysis of hormones such as: melatonin, serotonin, oxytocin and endorphin. Hormones affect the activities of the neurons and play a part in controlling the process of sleeping. Hormonal secretions in women are found to be very compatible and clearly provide extra energy, strength during and after the menstrual cycles, pregnancy, and delivery. That’s why the pituitary and pineal glands being considered as the master glands as their secretions directly or indirectly affect the function of the other glands in the endocrine system.

A brain chemical, such as Dopamine is responsible for intense pleasure; oxytocin is known as the love hormone; serotonin is known as a mood enhancer; endorphin is known as a natural pain killer. All of these powerful brain chemicals make us feel more alive, happy, healthier and more enthusiastic. The mental powers could be awakened and made sharper even in an unhealthy body through Reiki by making use of Third Eye chakra to refine and rouse the mental and intellectual talents.

Dr. Altschule, biochemist observes that if there is any biochemical basis of bliss, it must be through the pineal and pituitary glands. It is at these sources where all the bio-chemicals are produced, which induce the soothing feelings of happiness and enthusiasm.

Zonar helps us release Karma and toxic energies, create clarity and open our heart to compassion. Zonar works on hidden issues that have imbedded in the cells of our body and connect us to loving compassionate energy.

Third Eye Meditation: (Start with 5 minutes and build up to 20 minutes)
  1. Keep your mind positive. Overcome fears, self-doubt and being too self-conscious.
  2. Sit comfortably in a quiet place with your hands on your thighs or together whichever feels easier.
  3. Close your eyes and take 3 slow deep breaths; Breathe in through the nose and feel pure white light coming in to cleanse, then breathe out through the mouth feeling any tension, negativity or toxic energy leaving through the mouth into the ether.
If necessary take a few more breaths like this until you feel relaxed.
  4. Then focus on the Third Eye and visualize the Reiki symbol Zonar and continue to hold this vision. Start with 5 minutes and build up to 20 minutes of practice.
You can even spin the symbol or envisage the symbol in various colours. Here, I advise you follow your instinct as this may differ daily depending on the state of your mind and energy.
  5. To end the meditation again take 3 slow deep breaths, breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth. This time breathe in fresh new white energy and feel it fill the body and energize it. Breathe out any ill thoughts or negative energies.
  6. Then slowly open your eyes and feel gratitude within allowing yourself a couple of minutes to adjust to the world again.
