Prayers and Reiki Affirmations

Prayers

Prayer is an invocation. It is an act that enables us to establish a connection with the supreme power through deliberate communication. Prayers are made to the deities and divine gods for the fulfilment of some of the prospectives of life.

Prayer can be a form of religious practice in which we pray to our religious Gods for the betterment of our lives, for some personal benefits, for materialistic demands, asking for the divine blessings and sometimes for our near and dears. Prayer may be directed towards a deity, spirit and guiding angels. The purpose of prayers can be worshipping, guidance, confession, expressing one’s ideas and emotions to the higher self. Prayers can be silent prayer in which no words are uttered. Prayers can be in form of hymn, songs and incantation. Different body postures are associated with prayers e.g. standing with folded hand, standing with raised arms, sitting in padmaasan, sitting in sukhasan or kneeling.
There are different forms of prayer such as petitionary prayer, thanks giving and praise making.

For some people they are more likely like appeals or one-sided deals and when one of the deal is not fixed up, we people really blame that same deity, the same supernatural power, the same god, who was the best one for us before not accomplishment of one of the deal. We start using harsh words against the same provider who was providing every thing (materialistic, physical and spiritual) without asking for any gratitude in return. Sorry to say this kind of selfish behaviour is really making prayers less effective. When we pray to higher self with a selfless motive of unconditional love for the humanity, for well being of the whole society, they really work supernaturally.

The Reiki prayers are based on unitedness of the whole world, they are pure and divine for the kindness and wholeness of the whole world. So they really leave an intense impact on the healing of what we have quoted in our positive affirmations.

Reiki Affirmations

It is an invocation for the well being of everyone, self, the entire society and the entire world. It is a prayer to spread love and harmony. Affirmations are for attitude for the gratitude. Affirmations are positive and we can say only positive affirmation are fruitful.

Reiki affirmation is the combination of all types of prayers, in which we pray to divinity for the completeness and wholeness. We thank the supreme power for all his creations and blessings. We praise the divine source for the eternal love and harmony, for the balance in the universe. The affirmation helps us to connect to the divine source.

There are no hard and fast rules while making Reiki affirmation. The one and only one requirement is one should be present physically, mentally, and spiritually while making a positive affirmation. Harm to others or self can not be affirmed in Reiki prayers. We can make Reiki affirmation any time morning, noon, evening, night, bed time, the time you feel like making an affirmation make it. Yes, before self healing or healing others we should make a proper affirmation with self or healee’s name and the dis-ease we wish to heal with gratitude. It helps to make healing process more profound and intense.

Affirmation for Self Daily Reiki Practice

I thank myself being here. (thanks giving to soul for being in the body and riding it)

I thank God and his purpose for making me being in this healthy body (thanks giving to God).

I thank my teachers, my parents, spiritual guides, guiding angels, my siblings, my spouse, my kids, my family, friends and everyone who soever is in my aura being in my life. (acknowledging all his creations and thanking every one)

I thank supreme power, holy spirits and divine life force being here, for being in harmony with me and blessing me. (praising and thanking the source)

I thank the divine grace for nurturing all of us, for unconditional love and for uniting us.(praising his services and blessings)

I intent Reiki to be one with me, to heal me and everyone in my aura as a whole and complete. (praying to god for healing and oneness)

Thank you divine source for raising my vibrations, thank you for awakening me, thank you for healing me, thank you for blessings and assisting me for every moment.

Similarly the different affirmations can be made as per our healing norms.
