How to treat ADHD kids using Reiki?

Hi.
This is Angie Webster with Reiki Rays.
Thank you for your question.
Treating ADHD kids with Reiki is not very much different than treating anyone else with Reiki. Of course, you would want to make any adjustments that may be appropriate for the child’s individual situation and comfort level. For example, if the child has a great deal of difficulty sitting still for a treatment, don’t require them to lie down or expect them to receive an entire 1 hour treatment. Send them treatment from across the room as you talk to them, or if it is your own child, you could simply place your hands on them and send Reiki as you hold them on your lap for a cuddle. If the child is a client, you could ask them if they feel OK with lying on the treatment table for a few minutes or sitting in a chair. My suggestion would be to focus on treating the head and then the feet in order to bring balance to the flow of the energy in the whole body, and to ground the child. Finish with sealing and soothing the aura, cleansing out any debris that has been loosened.
