As we continue with our journey of these essential oils, one must remember to check the authenticity of the oils, as synthetic ones may not give the desired results or may have some adverse effects. The next 9 essential oils are as follows:
Clove oil (For Tooth ache)
This essential oil is made by water distillation from the buds of the clove. Oil is produced from the stems and leaves. It may help in cuts, burns, tooth ache, ulcers, wounds, rheumatic pains etc. It is also used in food for flavours in small amount.
Tea-Tree Oil
All rounder oil – active against all bacterial, viral and fungi diseases. Also helps in acne, blisters, burns, cold, dandruff, herpes, insect bites, rashes, warts, wounds, whooping cough, vaginitis, fever, flu, etc. Tea tree oil may be beneficial for respiratory and infectious diseases and may aid in healing wounds and Candida. It is a very powerful immune stimulant and a must have oil.
Lavender Oil
Essential oil by steam distillation of fresh flowering tops. An universal oil, well known, helps in allergies, burns inflammations, good for all skin types, aches, infections, abdominal cramps, nervous tensions, insomnia, depression, stress related conditions, PMS, etc. A few drops in the rinse cycle gives laundry a very nice fresh scent. Cotton balls treated with lavender oil makes an effective moth repellent, either in the closet or between clothes in a drawer. Lavenders also repel cockroach.
Basil Oil
Essential Oil by steam distillation from the flowering herb. It might help in insect bites, cough, ear ache, sinusitis, scantly periods, cold, infections etc. It is considered as an invigorating oil, excellent choice to diffuse in the morning.
Rosemary Oil
Essential oil by steam distillation or water distillation from fresh flowering tops. It is used in bath, body care, massage, diffuser, perfumes, inhalation, hair care, skin care, pains, palpitations, poor circulations, hypotension, mental fatigue etc.
Thyme Oil
Thyme oil helps in muscular pains, insect bites, dermatitis, cellulite, tonsillitis, infections, insomnia etc. The aroma of this oil is very strong, just inhaling the highly anti bacterial essential oil boosts the immune system. This oil is obtained from steam distillation from the fresh or partially dried leaves and flowering tops.
Cypress Oil
Obtained from the leaves and twigs, occasionally from cones. Help on oily and over hydrated skin, excessive perspiration, insect repellant, varicose vein, cellulite, muscular cramps, rheumatism and menopausal problems. It has a refreshing aroma and is often used in after shave lotions. It promotes blood circulation, when mixed with other oils for massages.
Peppermint Oil
It has a clear and penetrative odour. It is used in dermatitis, scabies, burns, toothache, palpitation, muscular pains, bronchitis, cold, flu, migraine etc. Peppermint also helps stimulate and counter insomnia, shock and mental fogginess, its nature is energetic. The oil is obtained by steam distillation of flowering tops.
Clary Sage Oil (Salvia Sclarea)
It helps in skin care, high blood pressure, pains and aches, throat infections, cramp, labour pains, depressions etc. This oil should not be used while one consumes alcohol as it can induce a narcotic effect and exaggerate drunkenness.
All the above mentioned oils are really good for general health and body care, so Reiki the oils and see and feel the changes!!
