Question by Sheila:
Hello, my name is Sheila.
I did long distance Reiki on my friend who had difficulty in sleeping. The end result was that she did not sleep at all, woke up with a migraine, tender shoulder. At the same time, I ended up with my own headache, diarrhea, and nausea, on the same day.
Where did that go wrong?
Thank you for your help.
Answer by Ashwita Vajandar:
The next time you heal someone, make sure you surround yourself in a Reiki shield, where you see yourself in a safe bubble of light. Request Reiki that the only thing that can come in or go out of this bubble is Reiki love and light.
Apart from the lack of protection, it does not seem to me like you have done anything wrong. It looks to me like your client had a spirit attachment and it got aggressive when her vibration was raised to Reiki healing and it attacked both her and you.
If she is still open to the idea, a few more days of healing should help raise her energy levels to an extent where the spirit cannot remain attached to her anymore.
Of course, it’s also possible that the healing released some intense negativity within her, racking her system and there wasn’t any spirit issue at all. But in either case, some more healing should help. Just make sure you protect yourself.
