Reiki Healing Flower Meditation

Article by Justine Melton

As many of you know one of my favorite things to combine with Reiki work is meditation. It is relaxing, fun, and it works! It can bring a new element of healing to your practice and to your life as well. Here is a soft, relaxing meditation that includes Reiki, color work, and flowers.

Reiki Healing Meditation With Flowers:

1. Protecting yourself and the space you are in

Make a large power or master symbol on every side of the space you are in. Think of the space you are in as a cube and make a large symbol on each side of the cub you are sitting in.

Also, be sure to make one large power or master symbol over yourself as well. I always like to add a large emotional healing symbol over myself as well. I feel that this adds nicely to the meditation but the most important thing is for you to add any symbols you feel called to use.

2. Setting the tone

Put on some soft relaxing music and if you find that candles help you then light a candle as well.

Pay attention to the color of the candle you are using. Is it soft and relaxing or is it emitting loud and energetic vibes? Be sure to pick a color candle that matched the meditation you are doing. For relaxation soft colors such as light blue, light pink, light purple or even white are helpful.

An extra touch that you can add for this meditation is to grab a few handfuls of fresh flowers and scatter them over the floor of the space you are doing the meditation in. Make one large power or master symbol over the flowers as well.

3. Meditation

Gently lay down over the flowers that are scattered across the ground. Close your eyes and take 3 long and deep breaths. Allow your body to slowly relax.

Picture that an angle or spiritual being as come to help you heal. They have a large bouquet of flowers with them. These flowers are gorgeous and are unlike any other bouquet of flowers that you have ever seen. It is immediately obvious to anyone who looks at them that they have been infused with special healing powers. They are every color of the rainbow and have a silvery iridescent sparkle to them.

The angel holds the flowers out in front of them. You notice that they all begin to illuminate. The angel smiles at you, lifts the flowers up and then tosses them into the sky. You watch them soar up and then slowly start to fall all around you. They are beautiful and emit an amazingly calm and soothing healing energy. As they fall they are carried around your space by a gently breeze. They glisten as they fall around you. As each one gently hits your body you feel a small soothing tingle of warmth. You know that this is the flowers gift of healing to you. It is soft, gentle, soothing and amazing.

You feel all of the burdens your body has been carrying being gently brushed away by these flowers and their healing energy. You are relaxed, soothed and at peace. Sit in this space for 20 minutes. Make one large power symbol over yourself. Be thankful for the healing you just received.

This is a great meditation to do once a month and is something special that you can do for yourself. Enjoy!

Wishing you all love and light.
