When you learn Reiki it’s so exciting and exhilarating, and if you are anything like me you want to share it with the world. With your family and friends and anyone who will listen. This can become somewhat frustrating if those you speak to are not interested in listening let alone allowing you to practice your new found skills on them. How frustrating!
Thus may I please encourage you to attend Reiki Share days in your local areas? I have Reiki Share Days once a month, which is open to anyone who has completed some form of reiki training -regardless of where or with whom they completed their Reiki training. The form of Reiki is not an issue either, so if you’ve done Usui Reiki, Galactic Reiki, or Seicheim Reiki, this will not prevent you from attending our share days. Energy is energy and I am open to all. This gives all Reiki attuned people a place to practice and to bond and mix with other people of like mind. It’s a beautiful and uplifting experience for all. So please, I encourage you to look for a Reiki Share Day in your local area.
The below is an example of how I let people know of the Reiki Shares happening in Darwin, a small city in Australia.
The students and practitioners who attend Reiki Share Days such as the above will be rewarded with ongoing development and learning because we (being the Masters in the community) teach and discuss a certain topic at each gathering. In the past I was involved with a Reiki Community here, that I didn’t energetically fit in with and didn’t particularly like their style or how they treated people outside their own group, thus teaching me how I wouldn’t run share days, or treat people. Ultimately I now run my own Reiki Shares days with them being open, and embracing anyone and everyone. I feel this is what Reiki is all about.
We go for three hours, starting with a meditation, and then we have ongoing learning and development on a topic the students/practitioners chose the month before (at end of the last session) and we go into great detail. Ultimately it’s another class for everyone, with theory and practice, so people know what they are feeling and sensing. This allows them to embrace Reiki even more, without being left to flounder on their own, after paying for a Course. I’m a big believer in helping and assisting people to achieve the most they can, and becoming the best they can be. All that is asked for in exchange is a plate of food to share with the group. That’s the energy exchange which is very important in Reiki.
To help and assist with these classes is the ongoing development that the Masters in the community have. Along with Reiki Share Days, the masters also attend separate monthly Master Professional Development days. At these events we learn diverse topics presented by a different Master each month. The reason for this is, it develops the Masters’ teaching abilities, it allows them to showcase a skill they are proficient in, and it allows the Masters to debrief and share their experiences over the month. It’s a safe environment where Masters can talk and bond and learn. It ultimately gives us all new skills and experiences to share with those that attend the monthly Reiki Share days. It’s very exciting and appears to be working very, very well.
I have no doubt that other Reiki businesses in the Darwin area will soon follow suit with our way of doing things because it works so well. We have noticed that our methods and ways in not only reiki but tarot, has already been embraced and duplicated on so many levels. It’s a great indicator we are doing well and other similar businesses believe in what we do. If, how we do things, is being picked up in a small city like Darwin, how marvellous would be if businesses around the world begin to do the same, so all spiritual people receive the ongoing support they need and require.
I would like to share some photos of the Masters Development Days to encourage you to really mix and share with each other, so that the general Reiki Share days can become even more exciting and wondrous for all.
Below is a photo of Masters learning more about iridology which was fascinating and interesting!
And the following picture is another Reiki Masters Professional Development day where we learned about incorporating healing cards and how this could benefit a reiki treatment.
Thank you so much for reading this article and please, please, can I encourage you to become involved in Reiki Share Days or create a gathering of your own if something doesn’t exist in your area.
With much love, light and harmony.

You give me motivation to keep discovering and finding more about Reiki I had initiated a few years back but never feel secure that I was doing it right or that I was teached properly or that I could making a living helping others. Would love to attempt one of your sharing day but I’m far in Montreal Canada :))
Thanks for sharing again xOx
